Dear Sir / Madam,

We have received letter from Mr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, DCPC, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, GOI, regarding India - Israel FTA negotiations.

India and Israel are negotiating a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) of which 8 rounds of negotiations have been held. Israel has submitted its priority request list of industrial items; the items of the interests of Chemical industry in Israel’s request list are attached here.

The next round of negotiations is likely to be held shortly. Hence, India’s stand on Israel’s priority request list is required to be firmed up.

In view of the above, it is requested that your comments/inputs on the Israel’s priority request list may kindly be provided urgently via return email so as to enable us to send the response to DCPC.

Thanks & regards,

H S KARANGLE
Director General
