Members are aware that recently ICC announced the prestigious Annual Awards for excellence in performance in various categories for the year 2011. The Council has invited representatives of the Award Winning companies to participate in the above Seminar and highlight the various initiatives they have taken in respect of their achievements which prompted ICC to confer on them the Awards. The representatives of Award winning Companies will share their experiences which will be of great learning experience for the delegates who will be attending the Seminar.

Dr. Sourav Pal, Director, National Chemical Laboratory has agreed to Inaugurate and deliver Key Note Address.

PROGRAM:

Detailed program is enclosed herewith for ready reference. It will be noticed from the program that experts from different Award Winning Companies will participate and make presentation on different areas covering Development of Indigenous Technology, Excellence in Management of Health / Safety/ Environment, Energy Conservation & Management, Water Resource Management in Chemical Industry, Social Responsibility etc.

REGISTRATION FEES:

To defray the expenses, the registration fees will be as follows:

ICC Members : 6,745/- per delegate (including 12.36% Service Tax)
Non Members : 7,870/- per delegate (including 12.36% Service Tax)

The Annual Awards Presentation Function of ICC will also be held on 12 October 2012 from 6.30 p.m. onwards. Dr. Ashok S. Ganguly, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) has agreed to be the Chief Guest for the function.

Apart from industry Awards, I.C.C. D. M. Trivedi Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Indian Chemical Industry (Management of Industry) will be presented to Mr. A. M. Naik, Chairman & Managing Director, Larsen & Toubro and I.C.C. D. M. Trivedi Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Indian Chemical Industry (Education & Research) will be presented to Dr. A. V. Rama Rao, Ex Director - ICT Hyderabad and Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, Avra Synthesis Pvt. Ltd.

Further ICC will be honoring Prof. M. M. Sharma, Padmavibhushan and former Director, UDCT now Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) by presenting Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Awards Presentation Function will be followed by Cocktails & Dinner. Delegates attending the Seminar are invited to join the function.
