One-day Seminar on "Carbon Footprint & Green House Gas Inventorization"

We are happy to inform you that under the auspices of Technology & Energy Expert Committee and in cooperation with Ernst & Young, ICC is organizing a One-day Seminar on "Carbon Footprint & Green House Gas Inventorization" on Friday, 26 February 2010. The venue of the Seminar is Banquet Hall, WEST END HOTEL, 45 New Marine Lines, Near Bombay Hospital, Mumbai. The detailed program is enclosed.

INTRODUCTION :
Members are aware that ICC has entered into an understanding with Ernst & Young (EY) regarding computation of Carbon Footprint also referred to the Green House Gas accounting. The main objective of this seminar is to create awareness about this initiative so as to enable members to take steps for computation of Carbon Footprint & Green House Gases.

FACULTY:
Mr. Arunavo Mukherjee, Vice President - Climate Change, Tata Quality Management Services has agreed to deliver Key-Note Address. Mr. Arunavo Mukherjee has more than 25 years experience in the industry and his areas of expertise includes strategic planning, project development, large scale change management in the energy sector and combating climate change. Mr. Mukherjee is Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and MBA from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA.

Mr. Abhishek Kumar Gupta, Corporate Tech & Sustainability, Tata Chemicals Ltd will present Case Study during the seminar.

Technical papers will be presented by Mr. Chaitanya Kalia, Partner, Ms Nutan Zarapkar, Sr. Manager and Mr. Bhavsar of Ernst & Young.
