GREEN CHEMISTREE FOUNDATION is a registered non-profit organization which has vision to bring forth technical know-how regarding green chemistry and engineering applications amongst the chemical community including Industry, Academia, Research Institutes, Government bodies and Students.

The Program of the Seminar is well structured and important areas such as Green Processes, Green Solvents, Green Catalysts and Green Engineering are covered. You will notice from the program that apart from experts from academia, there will be 3 – 4 Case Studies which will be based on local needs (from units operating in industrial areas like Lote Parshuram, Mahad, Roha, Patalganga, Taloja, etc.)

OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Seminar is to create awareness about 12 Principles of Green Chemistry:

  1. Prevention
  2. Atom Economy
  3. Less Hazardous Chemical Syntheses
  4. Designing Safer Chemicals
  5. Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries
  6. Design for Energy Efficiency
  7. Use of Renewable Feedstocks
  8. Reduce Derivatives
  9. Catalysis
  10. Design for Degradation
  11. Real-time Analysis for Pollution Prevention
  12. Inherently Safer Chemistry for Accident Prevention
