We are happy to inform you that on the industry’s demand, after a long gap, ICC is starting the offline physical programmes now. We are initiating with the most popular, useful and the most sought-after programme of ICC. Details are mentioned below;

Topic: One-day Resfresher Course on "CHEMICAL ENGINEERING FOR PLANT PERSONNEL”
Date: 11th June 2022
Time: 9 am to 5 pm
Venue: Hotel Royal Orchid Central, Near Muj Mahuda, Akota, Vadodara.

OBJECTIVE:

Chemical/process plant design and operation are based on well-established fundamentals and practices laid down in chemical engineering professional books, magazines and other published literature. Those who have taken formal education in chemical engineering need refresher training as theory and practice are mutually supportive. And, those personnel who are engaged in the conduct of chemical plant operations need to link and relate their operating experience with theory to have better work understanding and upgrade skills.

WHY A REFRESHER COURSE:

Attending refresher courses is a part of continuing education and helps update / upgrade plant knowledge and operating skills. Whereas theory and practice have their stand-alone identity, one is inadequate without the other. This is because both are complementary, supportive and reinforcing to each other. They both are essential to achieve chemical industry objectives and solve problems, whether related to processes, equipment or materials.

PROGRAM:

The subjects namely Chemical Engineering Basics and Calculations; Fluid Flow Basics and Special Flow Situations; Chemical Reaction Engineering; Process Heat Transfer; Distillation and Plant Material Loss Monitoring (newly added); will be taught by experienced faculty members to give the participants an interactive, integrated and condensed refresher training. There will be an engaging program-related quiz.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Chemical / process plant personnel including chemical engineers engaged in operation, operation-support activities such as process analysis and troubleshooting; and those having qualifications in other disciplines but are engaged in chemical plant operation. Those who have lost touch with chemical engineering theory but would like to regain such knowledge/ skill can take advantage of this opportunity. This course is also recommended for senior managers and executives.

NOTE:

• Due to the classroom setup and nature of teaching, the no. of seats is LIMITED, which will be allotted on a "first-come, first-served” basis. We will be compelled to close the registration once the seats are full.
• CERTIFICATES will be presented to the participants at the end of the Refresher Course.
• Participants are requested to bring Scientific Calculator. (Recommended - CASIO fx 991ES with Calc, Solve and Integration Keys.)

REGISTRATION FEES:

To defray the expenses, the registration fees will be as follows:
ICC Members: Rs. 5,310/- per delegate (Rs. 4,500/- plus 18% GST)
Non Members: Rs. 5,900/- per delegate (Rs. 5,000/- plus 18% GST)
Group Registration (5 or more from the same company): Rs. 4,720/- per delegate (Rs. 4,000/- plus 18% GST)
