About
Each time the Process batch process is run, the goal is to get the ideal output. However, many variables can impact the output quality. For many of these variables, their values over time also impact product quality (for example, exactly when a certain heat was measured and what was the temperature change over time).
The concept of ‘Golden Batch’ is for the system to recreate the exact conditions that previously produced the ideal batch. This requires recording process values over time and analyzing the resulting data to determine the critical variables. The resulting time-based profile is referred to as the ‘Golden Batch’. As each batch is run, the system compares the critical variables to the ‘Golden Batch’ profile and automatically makes adjustment to match that profile. This results in consistent production of high-quality products.
